Advantage Driving is a driving school which has been established to produce a high standard of driving instruction to suit all pupil’s needs and to encourage and promote a safe driving attitude for life.

Ken has many years of driving experience, is a fully qualified driving instructor based in Torrington, Devon, and is registered with the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). Ken provides driving lessons in Devon and the surrounding area, but will try to accommodate those in out of reach places.

This website has been created to provide information to cover all needs for anyone looking to learn to drive or to improve on their current standard.

First and foremost, all our training uses a proven, well-structured syllabus, individually tailored to you, supported by a detailed Record of Progress and comprehensive training handouts. All training is carried out by fully qualified, Driving Standards Agency (DSA) approved instructors in modern cars with up-to-date safety features including dual controls and air conditioning. As a result, we achieve pass rates well above the national average.

Lessons start from £21 per hour and we don’t charge extra for pickups from home, college, work or during evenings and weekends ; discounts or incentives are also available for students, block bookings, novice drivers and pupil introductions. With Advantage Driving you have the choice of individual lessons, intensive/semi-intensive courses, Pass Plus and ‘Refresher’ training.
